Yesterday I had some problems with the PhoneTextBox in the November 2011 Windows Phone Silverlight Toolkit.

After installation i could not see the new PhoneTextBox.

I searched on the internet and found a Workaround in the Issue Tracker.
Deinistallation of the Toolkit and recompiling the Toolkit Source.
So i recompiled the original source, put the new Toolkit DLL in the October Folder:
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v7.1\Toolkit\Oct11)
and added the new reference to my Project.
Still the same :-( !! , no PhoneTextBox.
I found out that when i add the new reference to the October folder, the reference in my project is not changed.
It's still the same old Toolkit reference:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v7.1\Toolkit\Aug11\Bin\Microsoft.Phone.Controls.Toolkit.dll

It doesn't work, however, to change the refernce to a new folder.
So okay, the project seemingly wants the Toolkit in the August Folder.
I copied the new DLL to the August Folder and the new PhoneTextBox appeared in my project.

Some of you reported, that after the installation of WHSDM version 3.3.1, the Settings Tab is missing
and the installation ends with the error HRESULT: 0x80070490.
This is a bug, that i could not reproduce on my machine and in VMWare.
However i have a workaround for this, till i find what the problem is:
Please deinstall version 3.3.1 and download WHSDM version 3.2.0.
Install and check if the WHSDM Settings Tab appears in the Windows Home Server Settings.
Then deinstall this old version and install the current.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
