Vail Preview SDK - Provider Chat Example

by Christof 25. June 2010 21:11

Maybe you want to get to know the new Windows Server Code Name “Vail” Preview SDK a little better.
There are a lot of good examples in the API Reference.
Here are some "Chat" example directions for the Provider Framework.

  • The template-file ProviderObjectModel.zip is zipped in the wrong way and will not be
recognized by Visual Studio. The Folder structure ProviderObjectModel.zip should be the
    same as in other template-files.
  • Do not forget to change the ProviderID in the ObjectModelImplementation File:
    m_connector = ConnectorFactory.GetConnector<IProvider>("chat",this);

You can also Download these two Visual Studio Solutions for better understanding

WHS-Download Manager 3.2.3

by Christof 26. April 2010 11:04

WHS-Download Manager 3.2.3

The Download Manager had some trouble with the WHSDM Windows Service recently. So Version 3.2.3 has a new thread management running in the background and also new download methods. This new Version includes a Multi-Link feature to improve the download speed. Any file will be split into three segmented parts. Each Segment has a seperate connection to the filehoster. This should increase your download speed.
Please notice that the Multi-Link Feature is only available for Premium users.

Also new is the Resume Function for all filehoster and the modifided save.tv Record Download includes the
.info file for Cutbutler to remove commercials in the TV recording.

The DLC-Container users have the possibility to drag the file to the download folder. The Download Manager
recognizes the file & filehoster and transfers them (if the filehoster user data is stored) to the Download Pool.

WHS-Download Manager 3.2.3 supports following filehoster:
